In North Carolina, You Can Choose Your School, Choose Your Future
North Carolina is a state of expanding educational opportunity. In 2023, the North Carolina House of Representatives voted to expand educational opportunity for all North Carolina students. In large part because of the grassroots organizing efforts of citizen involvement with our sister organization, Americans for Prosperity North Carolina, the state house passed the Choose Your School, Choose Your Future Act—giving all North Carolina students access to the Opportunity Scholarship Program. Families now have more opportunity to chart the education path for their children.
